Farmer David has finally made his decision on whether to choose Emily or Lorelei as his future partner.
To help make the choice, David’s final episode of Farmer Wants a Wife saw him pay a home visit to both women’s families.

David copped a grilling from Emily’s family while seeming to hit it off with Lorelei’s.
Emily’s family expressed concern that she would be moving away from them to join fourth-generation apple farmer David on his property at Pozieres in Queensland.
Following the family lunch, the couple ventured to a Brisbane hotel, with Emily telling producers that it was their “last time together, just us, and I don’t want to have any regrets”.
David used the talk to voice his concerns – that Emily would miss home too much if she were on the farm.
“Today when you mentioned moving back (to the farm), there was a little bit of a (gasp) at the table – does that create any doubts?” he asked her.
Emily responded: “There aren’t any doubts there but I know it’s a really big decision but one I can’t fully commit to yet. “You’ve still got a decision to make.
“I know where I’m at and I can see how it’s going to work and I’m very willing to do that, but it’s not in my hands at the moment.”
Emily later told David she “really wanted” the lunch to go well – explaining that her family “just wanted what’s best for me and don’t want me to get hurt”.
“I just think I am falling in love with you and it’s been amazing and I’m very vulnerable to say that and this is the last moment before the decision so I don’t want to regret anything,” she then told David.
To producers, Emily added, “I’m falling in love with him and that’s just how it is. I keep thinking is this really happening? Is this really happening to me?”
David said that for him, it is “always a worry that the person that I choose might not want to move back to the farm”.
Next, it was off to Lorelei’s family home in Newcastle where she grew up before moving by herself to the Gold Coast.
Lorelei said it was a “big moment” taking David home, and her “warm” family quickly brought up the prospect of Lorelei relocating to the farm.
The family was “very positive” about the move, with David remarking, “I was pretty excited by the fact that she had made that step to Queensland on her own”.
“This is the guy that I think I have been waiting for,” Lorelei told her brother, Harrison.
“I’m very much starting to fall for David”.
“I think this may be the happiest I’ve seen Lorelei with a partner before,” Harrison told producers.
David reflected on the lunch: “I already had some strong feelings for Lorelei and I think those family visits have strengthened those ideas.”
Addressing the importance of the family being supportive of a move to the farm, David said: “You can have a really amazing relationship but if there’s huge amounts of tension coming from your family unit – that they don’t want you to move away – that can have a big impact on the relationship.”
Lorelei told producers: “To be a part of David’s future is something I want so badly.
“In my head right now are all the emotions. Thinking about the worst outcome – the worst outcome being… sorry,” she said, breaking down in tears, “The worst outcome being I’m not the girl at the end.”
And soon came decision time for David – was the woman by his side to be Emily or Lorelei?
“I’ve fallen in love and it’s a pretty amazing feeling,” David said.
And the lady chosen was Emily!
“Emily you are the most genuine person I know… I know you haven’t had many serious relationships, but starting today this can be you’re first – and hopefully your last,” he said.
“I’ve completely fallen in love with you and can’t wait to see where this future goes.”
After kissing Emily she told him, “you know I’m falling in love with you too”.
“I don’t think I could have ever predicted I’d be feeling this way,” David told producers.
“I’m so so happy and I can’t wait,” Emily added.
Breaking the news to Lorelei did not go as planned, with the Gold Coast native appearing overcome and feeling unwell moments after discovering the news.
“I hope you know just how much I adore you… I came here to find love and to pave my future on the farm and it breaks my heart to tell you I’ve fallen so heavily for someone else… thank you from the bottom of my heart for coming on this adventure with me,” David told her.
“Sorry I really don’t feel good,” she said reacting to the news, holding on to his shoulders, “I don’t feel good”.
“Do you want to sit down?” David asked as a producer rushed onto the set and provided a box for Lorelei to sit on.
“Are you okay honey?” the producer asked as David comforted Lorelei.
A tearful Lorelei said she really thought he had been going to choose her. ‘I really thought I had a chance,” she admitted.
“I really wanted that to be me,” she said.
