Sydney FC are setting up a Fan Representative Group as part of an APL initiative to ensure Members and supporters views are considered in the APL’s future plans.
The Sky Blues are joining all 13 A-Leagues clubs in setting up an individual club Fan Representative Groups (FRG) that will meet three times a year to discuss the running of the game in Australia.
Each club’s FRG Chair will also attend two meetings a year with leading APL representatives to provide supporter insights on key matters that affect the A-Leagues.
The minutes of these meetings with be shared to the general public by the APL.
Sydney FC are welcoming applications to join our FRG ahead of the inaugural meeting in September 2023. Applications will close on 30 June 2023.
To ensure we build a group that fully represents all of our supporter base, we will be seeking applications from both Members and non-Members.
Members of the FRG will serve a maximum of two-year terms – with the group voting for a Chair each year.
With this in mind, we will be seeking applications for both one and two-year terms in the initial FRG formation.
Once we have formed the FRG, Sydney FC will inform supporters of the names of members of the group.
We look forward to hearing from people who are interested in taking part using this form.
