The final part of Daniel Ricciardo’s split with McLaren is complete, with the Aussie selling his McLaren road car.
Ricciardo posted his stunning ‘Lantana purple’ 2021 model McLaren 720s Spider for sale in April for a cool $414,000.
The four litre V8 engine produces 710-horsepower and can go from zero to 100km/h in just 2.8 seconds towards a top speed of 341km/h.

The car was listed for sale through renowned McLaren second-hand dealer McLaren New Forest, and featured on AutoTrader.
The posting has since been removed, suggesting the car has been sold.
Ricciardo split with the Woking-based squad at the end of last season, and was replaced by fellow Aussie Oscar Piastri.
Ricciardo is spending the 2023 season as a reserve driver at Red Bull Racing, where he won the first seven of his eight grands prix.
Earlier this week, Ricciardo told Race Fans he stopped eating properly towards the end of a horror 2022 and wasn’t sure he wanted to return to the F1 grid.
“I don’t want to like go too far and be like, ‘yeah, I was depressed’ or whatever, but I certainly wasn’t always eating as much,” he said.
“I think I just wasn’t feeling right. I was honestly just not like my happy self, not my normal self.
“So much was going on last year, I could feel I had this kind of nervous energy inside me. I didn’t have an appetite as much. I was just a bit scattered … I was a little thin.”
He said his break is doing for his headspace exactly what he needed it to do.
“I’m getting enough of a break where I feel certainly refreshed and happy again,” he said.
“But it’s kind of also reminded me how cool this environment was and what it’s like to be in a place that I feel I can hopefully get back to a podium.”
