Tyler Everingham will take to Phillip Island this week with a sharp new livery in his Dream Racing Chevrolet Camaro, as he looks to cash in on his Hidden Valley TA2 podium.
His #27 chev will have a sleek metallic appearance as he looks to climb the table after two top ten finishes and a DNF at Round 1 in Tasmania – his first race round in the Trans Am category.
Everingham sits fifteenth in the championship, but got unlucky with a mechanical problem which forced him to retire when he was fighting for podium in Race 3.
The 22 year-old made the jump from last Season’s Super2 year where he scored two wins to finish fourth overall, as well as making his second Bathurst 1000 appearance, racing with Scott Pye.

At Hidden Valley for Round 2 of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series, Everingham also picked up his first Trans Am TA2 podium in Race 2 of the world first ever TA2 twin-driver round and races.
Both he and his two Dream Racing teammates, Josh Webster and Craig Scutella, have had good preparation for this weekend’s race, having done some testing on the famous Victorian island track.
“The test last week was good and has given us a lot of confidence for the weekend,” said Everingham.
“I haven’t raced or driven at Phillip Island for quite a while, and with that day done, it means I’m definitely looking forward to getting back into racing.

“I’ve still only done one round in these Trans Ams, and I’m still learning little things about the car. We made quite a few changes at the test. We still have a bit to refine to get it how we want it, but we’ll be pushing hard to get there.
“Trans Am is definitely a very competitive category. There aren’t many weak competitors in the field, so I’m expecting it to be a hard-fought battle.”
