What a run! All this talk about the Warriors dynasty being over and here we have Maitland Ward continuing to dominate. Three in a row and didn’t have to add Kevin Durant. She just does her thing. Now, I refuse to believe the Warriors dynasty is truly over until Steph stops being Steph. We do this all the time in sports. We claim a dynasty is dead after a loss in the postseason and next thing you know they win 2-3 more titles. We did it with the Spurs. We did it with the Pats. We did it with the Warriors before too.
But Maitland Ward? I’m not declaring her dynasty over. Not by a long shot. You don’t just waltz into the X-Rated Critics Organization awards and win three in a row. There’s some work involved. It’s about evolving with the game, much like the 3-point shot or having versatile wings.
I didn’t think Maitland Ward would have the most successful career from the Boy Meets World cast but she’s dominating. You can’t deny that. Boy Meets World will always have a soft spot in my heart. Great show. One of the Mt. Rushmore shows of our childhood. Every guy wanted to be as cool as Shawn Hunter while also dating Topanga. Mr. Feeny was the teacher you never had. Then all of a sudden Rachel appeared once Eric went to college. You had the whole Rachel/Eric/Jack love triangle while living together.
She’s out here at 46 dominating too. She’s proving age is just a number and titles will still be there. That’s a dynasty. I’m not exactly sure what Drift is, but I’ll do my research here soon. All I know is it’s Georgia football and Maitland Ward as the only two current dynasties.
