A Midlands workforce management firm has said it is experiencing record levels of demand.
Over the past 12 months Crown Workforce Management, based on Tamworth Business Park, has recorded a 40 per cent year-on-year increase in the number of businesses seeking to replace on-site servers with cloud-based infrastructure to hold HR-related data.
Crown currently employs 75 staff with an annual turnover of £5.6m, and provides software that helps organisations to solve workforce problems.
It counts 14 UK police forces amongst its 200-strong client base.
The demand surge comes as the business marks 30 consecutive years of passing annual Industry Standard Organisation (ISO) audit inspections relating to how the business keeps its information secure and the quality of the processes it follows.
Managing director Mike Hawkesford said: “Although remote working during the pandemic demonstrated to businesses the agile benefits of utilising cloud-based technology, the technology’s success is very much built upon improved customer experience and trust that data is secure.
“So, our reputation as a leader with ISO for over 30 years has certainly helped to drive our growth in this space, which I am very proud of.
“Another key contributing factor to our long-term growth has been our staff’s commitment to maintaining high standards when it comes to handling sensitive data.”
