ALBANY – The recently reconfigured Broadview credit union was dealing with an outage among some of their debit cards on Monday morning.
After several comments on social media, the company issued a notice on the Twitter social media site that stated: “Attention Members: Some members are experiencing an issue when attempting to use their debit cards. We will update this message once resolved.”
“I called the call center and there was a 30-minute wait,” remarked John Bulmer, who tried using his SEFCU debit card at a CVS and then at a Walmart in Saratoga County.
He said he then received a Twitter notice.
Broadview is the new credit union resulting from the merger of the SEFCU and CapCom credit unions.
Most of the comments on social media sites centered on SEFCU debit cards.
The Twitter messages from Broadview started shortly after 8 a.m. on Monday.
