After reforming in April, the group shared that they’re hitting the road this July and August to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Night Of The Wolverine. The title track and You’re Just Too Hip Baby reached #48 and #59 on the triple j Hottest 100 of 1993.
Not only are they going on tour, but according to a new post from Graney on social media yesterday (7 June), they’re releasing a double vinyl album for Night Of The Wolverine.
“Having an amazing time shooting a clip for a song we recorded three decades ago with Donna McRae,” Graney wrote on Instagram next to a series of behind-the-scenes pictures. “Most of the crew weren’t even born when it came out.
“Might even coincide with the double vinyl album of Night Of The Wolverine we are planning. And that might chime in with the 30th anniversary tour we are playing in July and August. Thank you Donna!”

Dave Graney & The Coral Snakes – guitarist Rod Hayward, keyboard player Robin Casinader and drummer, percussionist and Graney’s partner, Clare Moore – are making a rare return to the road this July and August – you can find tickets below.
In July 2016, the band hit the Corner Hotel for Leaps & Bounds Festival, along with The Sand Pebbles and The Ancients, following a hugely successful run of shows in 2015.
“I appreciate people still being interested in our music, and we’ve learned which songs have kind of lived on in people’s brains,” Graney told The Guardian in April, which is where he revealed the group’s intention to celebrate Night Of The Wolverine this winter.
