At this year’s launch of the 20th CQUniversity Village Festival on the Capricorn Coast, crowd-favourite tribute show, INXSive, and Melbourne folk duo, Pierce Brothers, were announced to headline on Friday 11 August and Saturday 12 August.
The annual music and arts festival will run from 4-13 August 2023 on the Capricorn Coast with an action packed schedule of events and activities for all ages and tastes..
The milestone event also highlights the return of CQUniversity as the naming rights partner after 13 years of steadfast support to the Festival’s ongoing development and success.
Launched on 17 May at the Capricorn Enterprise Members Networking Evening at Echelon Rooftop, the event is promising to bring a huge 10-day program with music, food, forums, visual arts, comedy and much more.
In addition to the CQUniversity Village Festival’s signature open-air music concerts at Yeppoon Foreshore the festival also brings new events such as Jazz and Shiraz and Blues by the Beach at Emu Park, experiential dining experiences such as the World Sunset Terrace at Echelon Rooftop, plus a bush doof and busking competition to boot.
Limited tickets to the bespoke events are now available to purchase now on The Village Festival website.
Village Festival Chairman Danny Carr, said the CQUniversity Village Festival is an arts and
entertainment event birthed through the passion and commitment of the creative communities in our region.

The CQUniversity Village Festival has become a beloved annual event in Yeppoon with crowds of locals and tourists alike delivering economic and tourism benefits for the region.
Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll said the festival has a long history of delivering significant economic and social benefits to the Capricorn Coast.
