Do you want to help vulnerable child and adult victims of crime as they give evidence and go through the court process?
Do you have time during weekdays to spare?
Are you flexible with your time and schedule?
Do you have experience with the criminal justice system or working with children or supporting vulnerable individuals and communities?
Are you or do you know someone who is looking for a different type of volunteering role?
PACT urgently needs Court Support Volunteers for this unique, at times challenging and important role.
PACT educates, empowers and supports children and adults who are victims of and witnesses to crime, and we are desperately in need of volunteers in Mount Isa.
We are also in need of volunteers across other areas in Queensland and especially in the Gold Coast, Logan, Ipswich, Proserpine, Ayr, Moranbah, Mackay, Emerald, Gladstone, Roma, Longreach and Townsville regions.
Comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring is provided to prepare and support you for this vital volunteering role.
For more information or to complete an application form, please visit PACT.
We are unable to provide these important services to this vulnerable group without volunteers and thank our many existing volunteers for their wonderful and ongoing support, and appreciate your interest in PACT.
