Will Allen, Cheshire: The junior had 15 kills, two aces and two digs and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the SCC tournament following the Rams’ four-set win over Shelton in the championship game.
Nick Collins, Joel Barlow-Redding: Collins, a senior, had 22 digs in the Falcons’ four-set victory over Oxford in the SWC semifinals.
Griffith Crouse, Darien: The junior setter racked up a combined 60 assists in the FCIAC semifinals and final as the Blue Wave won its fourth straight league crown.
Zack Farren, Pomperaug-Southbury: Farren, a senior, had 37 assists, eight digs, two kills and six blocks to help lead the Panthers to a 3-0 victory over Masuk-Monroe in the SWC semifinals.
Jason George, Simsbury: The Trojans’ setter dished out 29 assists and had 12 digs in a shutout of Enfield for the CCC title.
Jacob Girard, Enfield: The senior had 11 kills and nine digs as Enfield upset Southington in four sets in the CCC semifinals.
Matt Hand, Wolcott Tech-Torrington: The sophomore setter amassed 51 assists along with 14 digs and four aces to help the Wildcats win the inaugural Connecticut Volleyball League tournament championship with a five-set win over Rockville.
Trevor Herget, Darien: The senior was named the MVP of the FCIAC tournament after collecting 12 kills, eight digs, seven aces and 16 service points in the Blue Wave’s dominating 3-0 win over Trumbull in the final. He also had 19 kills, 10 digs, eight aces and one block in a 3-0 win over Westhill-Stamford in the semis.
Matt Irizarry, Cheshire: Setter dished out 37 assists in a 3-1 win over Shelton in the SCC final, and had 35 assists in a 3-0 win over Amity in the semis.
Alex Llach, Joel Barlow: The junior collected 23 kills and 15 digs in the Falcons’ 3-1 win over Oxford in the SWC semifinals.
Nathan Lloret, Wolcott Tech: The junior had a double-double with 14 kills and 17 digs, along with three aces, in the Wildcats’ 3-2 win over Rockville in the CVL final.
Jack Mirabilio, Pomperaug: The junior collected 14 kills, 14 digs, two aces, two blocks and one assist in a shutout of Masuk in the SWC semifinals.
Evan Murphy, Enfield: Murphy, a junior, had 34 assists, five digs, four blocks, one ace and one kill in Enfield’s shutout of Southington in the CCC semifinals.
Anderson Piller, Simsbury: The junior had a double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs in a 3-0 shutout of Enfield in the CCC championship game.
