A development application has been lodged for the demolition of an existing office building and the establishment of a Temporary Park, located at 50 Quay Street, Brisbane City.
Designed by Nettleton Tribe, the proposal seeks to demolish the former Brisbane Children’s Courthouse existing on the site and propose to develop a temporary park. The site has 70m frontages to Quay Street at the northern boundary and Coronation Drive at the southern boundary.

The planners at Urbis state “The retaining structure and removal of existing trees within the site is necessary due to the existing structure’s built form, the topography of the site and the development of the site for a future development approval.”
