CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A Cheyenne-based beer company won a bronze prize from the World Beer Cup last week.
The most prestigious beer competition in the world, the World Beer Cup was hosted in Nashville by the Brewers Association. The competition had had over 10,000 entries across 103 categories from breweries in 51 countries.
Accomplice Brewing won bronze in the Brown Porter Category. The beer company is located on 115 W 15th St. in Cheyenne.
Other winning Wyoming Breweries include Roadhouse Brewing Company in Jackson Hole, which took silver in the Session Beer or Belgian Table Beer Category, and Bond’s Brewing Company in Laramie, which took bronze in the Pumpkin Ale Category.
Past Wyoming World Beer Cup winners include Altitude Chophouse in Laramie, Snake River Brewing in Jackson Hole, Melvin Brewing in Alpine and Black Tooth Brewing in Sheridan – all of whom have multiple World Beer Cup awards to their credit.
“Wyoming breweries have proven over and over again that they’re worthy of notice and have earned a place amidst the greatest brewers in the world” said Michelle Forster, executive director of the Wyoming Craft Brewers Guild. “We are proud of all our members for continuing to hold high the standard of excellence in this incredibly dynamic and competitive industry. They’ve done Wyoming proud.”
