This dual-living home has had a total glow up and now has a stunning pool area that is the stuff of influencers’ dreams.
Set on a 766 sqm fully fenced block with shed and boat parking at 91 Lee Point Rd, Wagaman, the home has five bedrooms, two bathrooms, two kitchens and plenty of living and entertaining spaces.
Owner Jamie Collins said she and her partner gave the place a total makeover, taking it from a typical old Darwin property to a light, bright entertainer.
“It’s a completely renovated house,” she said.
“We’ve installed two new bi-fold doors and new flooring downstairs, new kitchen benchtops, new pool, new deck and solar.
“We fully gutted the whole yard and redid the gardens.
“There’s an extra slab beside the shed for parking the boat or trailer and we put in a new gate and fencing.”
The fully airconditioned home has a neutral colour scheme throughout featuring crisp white walls and floating floors.
Upstairs there is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area opening to the covered balcony.
The kitchen has been given a facelift and has white cabinetry, breakfast bar, full pantry and a freestanding stainless steel stove with five-burner gas cooktop.
There are three bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, a family bathroom and a separate toilet.
The downstairs area could be a self-contained unit or additional living and entertaining space.
There is an open plan living, dining and kitchen area opening to a front porch, a bathroom, and two bedrooms.
A whole corner of this downstairs area opens through bi-fold doors to the yard and pool area.
The mineral swimming pool is behind glass fencing and there is a covered poolside deck, outdoor shower and tropical landscaping.
The property has solar panels and an electric gate with remote access.
Ms Collin said the home was perfect for entertaining.
“We have hosted many kids’ birthday parties here,” she said.
“Everyone has their own space.
“You can open the bi-folds up in the airconditioned room for the kids if they’re hot.
“You can chuck some chairs and umbrellas in the yard and we had a dartboard in the shed.”
Ms Collins said her favourite part of the property was the backyard, pool and deck.
“Everything is so easy to maintain,” she said.
“In the dry it’s beautiful to sit on deck in the morning with a coffee and in the wet you’d go for a swim and you had the shade there on the deck.
“We’d swim all day and bring the barbecue down and have dinner by the pool as well.”
