WAHPETON, N.D. — Boys golfers competing in the North Dakota Class B state tournament teed it up for the first day of the two-day tourney on Tuesday at the Bois de Sioux Golf Course.
Central Cass is seeking its first team tournament title and the Squirrels finished day one at 31-over 315 to hold a 12 shot lead over second-place Fargo Oak Grove (43-over 327).
Defending champion Kindred is third at 44-over 328, Shiloh Christian is fourth at 45-over 329 and Bottineau is fifth at 49-over 333.
Northern Cass’ Aidan Hall and Zachary St. Aubin of South Border are tied for the individual lead at even-par 71. Bowman County’s Karsen Kulseth is third at 2-over 73 and North Border’s Carson Brown and Edgeley-Kulm’s Joseph Kramlich are tied for fourth at 3-over 74.
The second and final round is scheduled for Wednesday, June 7, in Wahpeton.
