We celebrated Monash Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences’ most outstanding 2022 students in our annual Student Awards Ceremony, held on Wednesday May 24 at the Alexander Theatre on the Clayton campus. An opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements of many of our highest-performing students, we awarded 104 prizes to 130 students from across our range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The evening was hosted by the former Deputy Dean of Education, Professor Wayne Hodgson with Head of Nursing and Midwifery Professor Julia Morphet as guest speaker. Our students’ family and friends were invited to share and celebrate their loved one’s success, and we look forward to seeing many of these prize winners become the future leaders in research, clinical practice, policy formation, health services and academia in Australia and internationally.
We would also like to specially recognise the generosity of our many prize donors who make these awards possible. Their commitment to supporting our students and providing tangible recognition for their academic achievements reflects their aligned vision of improving health outcomes for a better world.
Congratulations to all the prize winners for the 2022 academic year. We applaud your dedication and hard work, and encourage you to keep asking questions in your quest for better health outcomes.
