That’s the view of head coach Carl Forster ahead of another lengthy North Wales Crusaders’ trip in League 1.
A week after travelling to Cornwall, on-the-up Crusaders’ next match-up is at London Skolars tomorrow.
Cru have won their last two matches in the league to climb into seventh position and Forster has been speaking about what is key to improved results.
He told the club’s website: “I keep saying to the lads, we need to find what works and then stick to it.
“You know, we seem to find something that really works.
“We start games really well and then we kind of go away from what we’re doing, because it becomes a bit boring or we just get complacent.
“So, it’s finding what works and sticking to it, regardless of what type of rugby it is.
“So, with the size of our pack and the fact that everyone can play, you know, we want to go direct and we want to use our big men and then obviously create the space for the wide men outside.”
Following six consecutive defeats to open the League 1 campaign, things are definitely looking brighter for the Crusaders.
They finally broke their duck via a 42-14 victory at Midlands Hurricanes.
Josh Lynch, Jake Burns, Brad Billsborough, Paul Nash and Owain Abel were amongst the try scorers for Crusaders, who then followed this up with a comfortable 42-10 success from their long trek to Cornwall.
Abel grabbed two tries in this victory, with Jack Houghton, Shaun Costello, Rob Massam, Fletcher and Aiden Doolan also crossing the whitewash.
Forster said: “It’s just about building.
“We’ve not exactly been down in the dumps in terms of performances as a group.
“We know we’ve been getting better every week and it’s not a coincidence that we’re finally getting bodies back.
“We’ve got competition for places and then we obviously go and put a really good performance out.
“So, we’ve just got to build on that.”
Another victory for the Crusaders tomorrow will move them to within two points of the top-six.
There are a trio of League 1 encounters scheduled for Sunday.
Leaders Dewsbury aren’t in action, which means Doncaster can move to within three points of top spot if they triumph at Midlands Hurricanes.
Third-placed Oldham host Hunslet, who are fourth while Cornwall are faced with a long trek to Workington Town.
