Jarochos, Spit Shack, BZB Burgers, and more…forget heading to a restaurant this Friday, MIX 106.3 Five Thru Drive Thru is back again to treat your tastebuds.
For one afternoon only, on Friday 16 June some of Canberra’s iconic vendors have partnered with MIX106.3 to raise money for Give Me 5 to improve the lives of sick kids in the Centenary Hospital for Women and Children.
Kicking off at 3 pm and running until 7 pm in the Regatta Point (Commonwealth Park West) car park, you’ll be able to pick up some delicious food for a lazy Friday snack or dinner while making a difference for the most vulnerable members of the Canberra community.
Perfect for when it’s too hard to commit to one cuisine (or you just want to avoid a family argument), there will be everything from chicken salt chips on a stick from Slinko Potato to the iconic—and all gluten-free—tacos from Jarochos. If that’s not enough, Brazbecue will also be there offering their Brazilian barbecue goodness and BZB Burger will be slinging fried chicken burgers and fries (including loaded chicken and disco fries).
To gain entry into the epic drive-through, customers will be asked for a $5 donation that will go towards Give Me 5 and fund life-saving equipment and therapeutic toys.
Head along to say hello to Rod, Gabi, and the CBR Wrapped team, and make sure to wear something comfy—because let’s be honest, you’ll probably be going back for seconds (or even thirds).
