Bev Maddison (7th), Yoey Coogan (13th), and Julia Webb (16th) recorded Nett Eagles with Helen Tossavanien (10th) and Carol Ward (16th) getting bragging rights for their Ferrets. It was certainly Del’s day with her also winning the Accuracy Drive on the 4th and the Putting Comp – 29 putts. Well played Del. Stella was a very ‘happy little vegemite’ and will be smiling all the way to enjoy her coffee compliments of ‘Little h Café’, Southside.
Congratulations to our Pennant team who finished top in their group and will play in a semi final at Cooroy on Monday. Here’s hoping the Gympie flag continues to fly high.
It was another perfect day for golf, Saturday, 17th June, when ladies played a Single Stableford. The winner was Stella Macklin, continuing her good form, on a countback from Runner Up, Lorraine Elliott, both coming in square with card on 36 points.
