All Saints Elton Amateur Operatic Society, (AOS) were nominated for a showstopping 19 awards at the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA) awards and went on to win two; Best Director and Best programme.
All Saints Elton AOS was established in 1912 and has been staging productions for more than 100 years.
At a glittering ceremony at The Winter Gardens in Blackpool last month the group scooped two awards following the nominations they received at a district ceremony.
The two awards recognised productions staged since the coronavirus restrictions were lifted.

Best Director of a Drama went to Andy Milthorpe for the troupe’s recent production of Abigail’s Party and Best Programme went to Rebecca Forster for the musical adaptation of My Fair Lady.
Marketing team member Olivia Kershaw said the awards “recognise and celebrate amateur theatre around the UK”.
She said: “It was really amazing to get so many nominations, the main one being for My Fair Lady.
“As a group our main celebration was when we went to the district awards, all of us were there and we celebrated the two winners.”

The society have even more exciting projects lined up, including the first full production by its youth theatre group, which was launched last September.
The youth group will be staging two mini musicals, a production of Annie and the Jungle Book.
At the same time the main society group is preparing to stage its adaptation of Guys and Dolls.
Olivia added: “We’re really excited about our next big musical production, the musical version of Guys and Dolls, have had the NODAs it reminds us that it’s all real and its coming round again.”
