Following on from their successful sell-out pantomime in February, Theatre4all.nw are putting on a variety show this Sunday (June 4) at Gladstone Village Hall in Burton.
The performance will be a trip down memory lane of the casts favourite musical theatre songs spanning 70 years, from 1950’s to present day.
It will include classics such as Calamity Jane, My Fair Lady and Sound of Music and more recently Phantom of the Opera, Wicked and Anastasia. The performance will be served with an afternoon tea.
Who are Theatre4all.nw?
Theatre4all.nw are a theatre group that put on shows and performances to raise money for local charities and causes.
Over the past 12 months, they have raised funds for Parkgate Pony Sanctuary, Refuge Assist CIC, Wirral Wings, Charles Thompson Mission, Gladstone Village Hall and SaveWilliam – A young boy who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Charlie Cresswell and his request for a Tuba so he can start The Royal Northern College of Music, Four Paws and Wirral Animal Sanctuary.
The group was set up just under two years ago and has made its name known in the area of Neston and Burton by bringing community theatre to the area.
This show will be raising funds for Autism Together, a cause which is important to many of the cast members. The charity will also be attending the performance this weekend.
Julie With, who recently joined the group, said: “Come along and join Theatre4all.nw in a wonderful afternoon and join in the fun and also help raise money for the two wonderful causes.
“Not only do you get entertainment but you get fed too, enjoying and afternoon tea to tickle your taste buds.”
