Yeppoon Ladies’ Bowls
Cap Coast Triples Carnival was played 29 May at Yeppoon.
There were fourteen teams nominated. Five winners for this day. 1. Ellie Batts, Robyn Ross, Sandy Simpson, 2. Kaye Borg, June Puet, Heather Everett. 3. Debbie Crothers, Michele Mathieson, Desley Corbet. 4.Suzanne Kington, Althea Vaughan, Diana Vaughan. 5. Suzanne Lund, Shirley Kinear, Rhonda Watts. The green was quite fast which was a challenge, but everyone had a great day.
Social Bowls played: Two ladies were welcomed, Diane Harris from Tasmania and new nominating player, Marcelle Broadhurst.
Final of the Champ Triple played 30 May: Althea Vaughan, Jane Conlon, Kathie Buntain def Margaret Carte, Lorraine Young, Desley Corbet. Althea’s team was the winners of the day with the highest score.
Competition called for the 6 June 1.pm Consistency Singles: Diana Vaughan v Merry Goldby. Marker Michelle Simpson.
No further competition will then be called until July.
Gracemere Bowls Club
Sunday 4 June at 1pm – Social Bowls at 1:00 pm. Names by 12:30 pm.

June 4 American Tournament Bowls will be held in Kent Street Hall for a 9.30am start. Names are to go on sheet in Hall, Players to be in Hall by 9am.
June 11 C.Q. Open Day Will be held at Callide Valley for a 9.30am start.
Members will travel there for the event.
June 18th C.Q. Restricted Pairs will be held at Port Curtis for a 9.30am start. Members will travel there to contest the event.
