With more Australians raring to embark on longer cruises, luxury line Silversea has just revealed details of its 2026 world cruise, calling on rarely visited destinations such as Easter Island as well as a number of Australian ports.
Titled “The Curious and the Sea”, a reference to the line’s advertising campaign, Silversea’s flagship Silver Dawn is poised to take guests to “discover the authentic beauty and endless wonder of the world” with the biggest number of destinations – visiting 70 ports across 37 countries over 140-day voyage.
The world cruise will semi-circumnavigate Australia’s southern and western coasts and “dive into the diversity of nature around Phillip Island, Exmouth and Esperance.” Silver Dawn will also visit some of Australia’s lesser visited destinations like Port Lincoln and Busselton and more established ports like Hobart, Melbourne, Kangaroo Island, Broome and Darwin.
Silversea will call on “rarely visited destinations such as Easter Island with its mysterious Moai statues and Nuku’alofa, Atuona and Fakarava (a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve) in French Polynesia.”
Guests will also be able to explore iconic Greek and Turkish Islands along with the Mediterranean’s Holy Land, fall in love with charming medieval cities such as Dubrovnik, Hvar, Kotor and romantic Italian cities including Siracusa and Trapani in Sicily before wandering the ancient markets of Tunis in North Africa.
And the starting price for the 140-day world cruise from Fort Lauderdale in Florida to Lisbon? $130,900 which works out to be a mere $935 per person per day – all inclusive. Bookings are available now until 31 August 2023. To book visit

The 596-passenger Silver Dawn will use its small size to take guests into exciting corners of the earth, in special and curated events throughout the voyage, including a Polynesian Dreams celebration in French Polynesia, paddy to plate dining in Bali, an Exotic Marigold performance in India and much more.
