JETT HATTON (Randwick)
THAT’S MOLLY – Handy mare from the Glen Milligan stable that’s looking for further now. Having her second crack at a Highway, she was back a furlong in trip and lacked the same dash she showed two back at Scone when fourth to Steplee but was still strong late without much luck. The Wingham Cup (1600m) at Taree on June 6 could be right up her alley. Career statistics (14:3-0-1)

CAMERON HAPP (Sandown)
COEUR VOLANTE – Loved the debut run of this Michael Moroney-trained daughter of Proisir. Jumping awkward and hitting the gates, she found herself back beyond midfield and Jamie Mott just couldn’t find any clear air including being badly held up 300-200m. Only fully balancing up closer to the 100m, they’ve run a final 200m split just 0.02 slower than the winner and at worst should have run a close-up third. Bred to get out over a bit more ground, she looks a talented filly. Career statistics (1:0-0-0)

GRAEME CAREY (Eagle Farm)
SNAPBACK – Peter and Paul Snowden bring them north for a purpose and Snapback might still be a maiden but it won’t be long before he finds one judging by his effort in the BRC Sires’ Produce over 1400m. From his wide gate Mark Zahra went forward and while travelling well two lengths off the lead, was never better than three-wide to the home turn. He hit the front 200m out but couldn’t hold off the more-seasoned Cifrado which had got through on the rail. It was a brave effort at only his fourth start and first try at the trip against Group 2 company. He has a future. Career statistics (4:0-2-2)

HEATH POPE (Murray Bridge)
WILD IMAGINATION – Resumed on Saturday with a scintillating runner-up effort behind Picargo. Early numbers indicate this should be a race where formlines will stack up well and she’s a horse that’s better suited over longer than 1200m. The form guide suggests she always improves with a run and she has produced a personal best first-up rating on what was on an unsuitable Soft6 track. Looks as though she’s returned as an even more improved mare and if thats the case we will be following from here on in. Career statistics (20:5-7-1)

AARON MILLS (Belmont)
SAVAGE ONE – A wide run on pace in a pressure race did it no favours however there was enough in its eleventh beaten 5-1/2 lengths to say it can show up next time at good odds. Savage One was a revelation at Belmont last winter winning several races while going close in others. He performed well despite still getting fit in two Ascot starts resuming this prep but the extremely wide trip on Saturday was too much to overcome and he faded in the straight. Savage One is sure to be at its peak next time out and if able to find its preferred spot in or near the lead will take a power of beating. Career statistics (23:7-8-3)
