Bethenny Frankel flaunted her large diamond engagement ring from Paul Bernon on social media this week.
The ring, which has three diamonds in all – a massive emerald cut next to two smaller ones – and is over 10 carats looks to cost over $2million.
Paul popped the question to the reality TV star two years ago but the couple have yet to wed.
The 52-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum zoomed in on the ring to show fans how it sparkled.
‘Kind of scared about what this might mean for me… #engagementring #diamond #margarita,’ the star wrote in her Instagram caption.
She was doing her own version of another person’s post where she asked what she ‘might have to do’ for the rock her fiancé gave her.
But her followers were not pleased and said she was ‘out of touch’ for flashing her bauble amid the country’s crushing inflation that shows no signs of easing up.

Flashy chic: The 52-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum zoomed in on the ring to show fans how it sparkled. ‘Kind of scared about what this might mean for me… #engagementring #diamond #margarita,’ the star wrote in her Instagram caption. With her man and kid: But her followers were not pleased and said she was ‘out of touch’ for flashing her bauble amid the country’s crushing inflation that shows no signs of easing up. Seen with Paul and daughter Bryn
Some accused her of being a show off while others said it was gross even if she is ‘rich as sh**.’
Another follower shared: ‘I have a huge diamond too but Im never showy about it or try to show off what I own.’
And a fan hinted that the ring looks fake as they wrote: ‘I personally think anything over 5 carats looks fake AF even if I know it’s real.’
One person even suggested that Bethenny should not wed again after her ugly divorce from Jason Hoppy.
‘After your divorce there should not be a diamond big enough on this planet that would bind you in a marriage again. Just saying,’ it was written in the comment box.
Another suggested she downsize: ‘Too big! Too much responsibility and not safe to wear for you! 1 carat is best.’
A worldwide increase in inflation began in mid-2021, with many countries seeing their highest inflation rates in decades. And this week Fed chair Jay Powell said that the inflation battle is not over.
This comes after Frankel showed off her body when she said women should embrace the idea of aging like a ‘fine wine.’
Her inspiration: She was doing her own version of another person’s post where she asked what she ‘might have to do’ for the rock her fiancé gave her. The woman’s ring was two carats
Supersized: Frankel was showing how her ring is much bigger than two carats
Inflation is painful: U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell attended a press conference in Washington, D.C., on June 14. The U.S. Federal Reserve on Wednesday kept the target range of the federal funds rate unchanged at 5 percent to 5.25 percent, following a slew of 10 consecutive hikes since March 2022
The Real Housewives of New York City regular, who has daughter Bryn, 13, with ex-husband Jason Hoppy, 52, says she hates seeing females fighting getting older and desperately trying to resist the process.
She told The Heathy magazine: ‘I have a daughter and I want to be young for her. It’s been great to just accept (ageing.)
‘I see people, women, so desperately clinging on to youth and doing everything they can, and every gimmick and lying about their age and every filter,’ said the star who admitted last week she got free tickets to Taylor Swift’s concert.
‘It seems there’s a desperation to ageing and not allowing it to happen like in fine wine.’

Adding how she is happy with being seen as a ‘dorky aunt’ as she gets older, Bethenny went on: ‘I like being older because you have to be comfortable in your own skin and you get to be that dorky aunt.
‘That’s who I am to my daughter’s friends,’ noted the Skinnygirl founder.
‘That’s who I am on social media. I’ve embraced it, I get it.’
The mum-of-one, who is engaged to film producer Paul Bernon, added she has a list of key steps to try and stay looking her best.
She said: ‘I like prioritizing sleep and travel and food.
‘I like curating my life the way that I want it to be and only doing work that I want to do that’s very liberating.
Health is wealth: She told The Heathy magazine: ‘I have a daughter and I want to be young for her. It’s been great to just accept (ageing)’
‘I’m peaceful. I’m level, I’m happy. The highs and lows are not what they used to be, which is positive.’
‘Consistency, hydration, spray tone, layering spray tone with serums.
‘I have a sheet mask on right now because I flew yesterday, and a neck pillow that has lavender in it.
‘Taking hot baths with Epsom salts. It’s old-school just consistency. And hell, I prioritize health over what I look like.’
In 2022 she spoke candidly about all the plastic surgery procedures she has had done in a video posted to her social media.
The star revealed she has gotten filler once, had a breast lift 15 years ago, and previously got Botox in her jaw that drastically changed her appearance.
The reality star said she wants to be honest in today’s social media climate that often lacks transparency ethics surrounding the topic of plastic surgery.
Refreshingly candid: Frankel talked in 2022 about her past procedures and future plastic surgery plans in a video posted to her Instagram
Speaking to fans, Frankel said, ‘I owe it to you to be totally transparent with you.
‘In today’s world of filters and Facetune — and people being outright dishonest about how they look — it’s so important to me that I remain transparent about my physical appearance, especially now that I’m in this beauty space,’ the Skinnygirls Cocktails founder said.
‘I don’t have to tell you every aspect of my sex life, bank account, or any of that, but I feel a responsibility based on the fact that we’ve been talking about skin and beauty,’ she said.
In 2006, Frankel attended a movie premiere. Later, she got Botox to relax the muscles in her jaw and almost three decades later, she still looked stunning after her first procedure
‘And it would just be fraudulent for me to just go do something and then act like this was natural,’ the star added.
In the clip, she revealed that recently she’s been on a ‘plastic surgery consultation tour.’
For her future plastic surgery plans, the entrepreneur explained that she wants to get work done sooner rather than later in order to maintain her appearance and still look like herself.
‘I’m thinking very seriously about plastic surgery and I want to share with you all the reasons why,’ said the mogul.
‘I like the way I look. I’m OK. I don’t even think I really need it. The only reason I would contemplate this is because I will eventually do this, I believe.’
She added: ‘I want to look like myself. I just want a little help along the way.’
