A fan recently spotted the couple standing on the street in Dubbo, apparently having a heated conversation.
This led some Farmer Wants a Wife fan pages on Facebook to suggest that the relationship was already in trouble.
But Saunders accepted Instagram to confirm they were still a couple – and instead of arguing, she and Andrew were just discussing where to go for a beer.
“Hey, we’re really happy!” Her post began.
“We laugh, joke, and literally spend most of our time together because we’re best friends.” Discussion, but honestly we weren’t.
“We were just thinking about where to go for a beer. 😂
“I hope everyone is having a great weekend ✌🏼X.”
Saunders posted a picture of herself kissing a grinning farmer Andrew on the cheek to prove her point.
One person confirmed in the comments section that the couple is indeed very much in love.
“You walked hand in hand behind me and my daughter down Main Street today. Definitely happy,” they wrote.
“I was too nervous to ask for a selfie.
“I love you both together and hope you enjoy our little piece of land.”
“People are so rude to take pictures without asking first!” wrote another.
“Love your posts… Best wishes for an amazing life full of love together.”
“I’m so damn happy for you baby! You look so in love,” wrote another.
“You two are beaming! I hope you ended up with a nice cold beer,” one fan remarked.
“Don’t explain anything to anyone,” said another.
“You, Andrew and those you care about the most both know you’re happy, so that’s all that matters!
“Congratulations, I’m so happy for you both!”
Speak with 7entertainment Farmer Andrew recently said the future is looking bright for the couple.
“Claire has settled in well on the farm and now that we can travel together it will be even easier for her.
“I think the way relationships evolve is going to evolve into something more — look at that area.”
As for getting married and expanding her family, Claire said they “are definitely going to be someday.”
