Manchester United owner Avram Glazer remained silent when he was asked about the club’s potential sale.
The American businessman is part of the Glazer family who have owned the Red Devils since 2005.
It was revealed in November that they are ready to sell, and have been seeking £6billion for one of the biggest clubs in world football.
Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad Al Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are the leading contenders to buy United, with multiple bids in a protracted process.
Following their FA Cup final defeat, in which city rivals Manchester City won 2-1, Sky News reporter Rob Harris attempted to ask Avram about the sale.
“Are you definitely selling Manchester United? Are you going to accept the Jim Ratcliffe or Qatari bid?
“Why aren’t you speaking to the fans? Don’t fans deserve to know what’s happening with the takeover?”
Despite his attempts, all of Harris’ questions to the United owner were met with silence.
Avram was in attendance for the cup final defeat to City, and was spotted sitting next to legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
United won the FA Cup five times under the Scotsman but fell short at the final for the second time in six seasons.
It took just 12 seconds for Erik ten Hag’s side to fall behind as Bernardo Silva scored a stunning volley.
His strike was the quickest goal in FA Cup final history, and the German scored a second shortly after the break.
Bruno Fernandes scored from the spot in between City’s goals after United were controversially awarded a penalty.
However, their efforts in the second half were not enough to secure the trophy as their arch-rivals now close in on the treble.
