Arsenal have confirmed the departure of 13 players including Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who is being targeted by clubs in Germany and Turkey.
Maitland-Niles made 132 appearances for the Gunners and spent last season on loan at Southampton.
The 25-year-old, who has five caps for England and came through Arsenal’s academy, has now been made a free agent and will seek a new club.
Maitland-Niles, who had previous loans at Roma, West Brom and Ipswich, has two offers on the table from clubs in Germany and Turkey, according to Sky Sports.
The Gunners have also confirmed that Zach Awe, Joel Ideho, George Lewis, Matt Smith, Tom Smith, Kaleel Green, Alexandar Kovacevic, Tino Quamina and Mathaeus Roberts will leave the Emirates.
Arsenal have also released three players from the women’s team – Mana Iwabuchi, Rafaelle Souza and Fran Stenson.
‘We thank all the above players for their contributions to the club during their time with us,’ Arsenal posted on their website.
‘You will always be part of the Arsenal Family and we wish you all the best of health, happiness and success in your futures.’
More players could be set to depart north London in the summer transfer window with Inter Milan keen on a deal for Folarin Balogun.
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard, meanwhile, has revealed his stance on his future amid transfer interest from Paris-Saint Germain.
