The run to state begins today for numerous area track and field athletes.
In Division 1, Manitowoc Lincoln will be running and throwing at Sheboygan South High School as they compete against Sheboygan North and South, Fond du Lac, Neenah, Port Washington, and Oshkosh North and West.
Two Rivers will be competing in the Division 2 meet at St. Norbert College.
They will tangle with Denmark, Freedom, Kewaunee, Luxemburg-Casco, Notre Dame, Southern Door, Sturgeon Bay, and Wrightstown.
Also, Brillion, Chilton, Kiel Little Chute, Fox Valley Lutheran, New Holstein, New London, Plymouth, and Xavier will battle it out in Brillion.
In Division 3, Valders is competing at home against Manitowoc Lutheran, Mishicot, Reedsville, Roncalli, Algoma, Gibraltar, Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran/Providence Academy, Hilbert, Oneida Nation, and Sevastopol while St. Mary Catholic will host Cedar Grove/Belgium, Elkhart Lake/Glenbeulah, Howards Grove, Living Word Lutheran, Lourdes Academy, Ozaukee, Random Lake, St. Mary’s Springs, Sheboygan Area Lutheran, Valley Christian School, and Winnebago Lutheran.
Sectional meets will be held this Thursday for teams and individuals who advance.
