Antonio Brown is an enigma that few in the world can understand. His decisions over the years have baffled even the wisest pundits and fans of the game. While many have termed the WR one of the greatest talents to ever step onto a football field, Brown is far removed from his days of glory with the Steelers alongside Ben Roethlisberger. But the day might not be far when we see the two reunite once again.
Even though he’s been out of the league for quite some time, Brown has ensured his presence in the headlines throughout the offseason, especially with his Albany Empire disaster. The WR even announced a bid to make a return to the NFL landscape by announcing his intentions to join the Ravens after they acquired Odell Beckham Jr. earlier this offseason. But even with all his efforts, it doesn’t seem like AB is any closer to the Ravens. While this may be a bummer for some, it might still open up the gates for a possible reunion of the Steeler Dealers, Ben and Brown.

Just the other day, the National Arena League or the NAL announced their decision to kick out the Albany Empire from their league. The team, of course, is owned by Brown and has been making headlines over the last few weeks. But as the NAL window closes on Antonio Brown, the WR took to Twitter and hinted at a major reunion in the works.
Brown posted a photo alongside his former QB, Ben Roethlisberger, from their days together in a Steelers uniform. The two formed one of the most formidable duos in the league, and those were, perhaps, the glory days for Antonio Brown, the football player. The only issue is, while Brown’s hints at a reunion with Big Ben have excited many football fans, Roethlisberger is far removed from his playing days after announcing his retirement from the NFL last year. A reunion seems improbable between the two. However, Brown still has bigger problems to deal with in the meantime.

AB’s acrimonious NAL exit
It seems like Antonio Brown has run another venture into the ground. AB took over ownership of the National Arena League’s Albany Empire just over 3 months ago. But, perhaps in record time, Brown’s Albany team has been booted from their own league, owing to his failure to make payments to the league in time. The exit marks an unsanctimonious end to the drama that has surrounded Brown and his team for several weeks.
This won’t be the first time he has disappointed Albany fans, either. Just last month, Brown announced his plans to suit up for the team to boost their ticket sales. However, the day came and went by, and fans were disappointed to see AB go back on his word once again. The WR, of course, did not suit up to make his much-awaited return to a football field. The only question that remains is – with his future filled with uncertainty, what might Brown do next?
