While the allegations against him are earning him a lot of judgment from fans and analysts alike, Brown seems to have no problem sharing interesting goals for his team. While speaking in an interview with a TV network, the ex-wide receiver spoke about his new hires and how they’re going to help his players.
Brown spoke about how the new coaching hire made by him is going to be a long-term hire. He also made it clear that the team is looking for the right kind of leadership to provide a productive environment for the members of his team. He said, “We definitely looking for someone that could believe in the culture of what we’re standing for and helping our guys not only be professional football players but to be professionals off the field and to grow their brands as NIL players.”
Interestingly, as Brown spoke about the kind of progress he wants for his team, his own actions became apparent in terms of how he behaved when he was a player. While he might be frustrated as an owner to see players leave, he himself had very defiant behavior as a player.

Brown’s shenanigans as a player
In the midst of his own players leaving his team, Brown’s previous actions as a player are being put into perspective. One of the biggest turning points in his career was when he walked away mid-game from Tom Brady and the Bucs while they were at MetLife playing against the Jets. Apparently, he left the stadium midway because he had initially refused to play due to injuries. However, these claims have not been substantiated. Sadly, after he left the field like that, the coach of the Bucs publically went on to say that he will no longer be on the team. However, Brady was sympathetic and mentioned that Brown still remained his close friend after the incident. Of course, that might have changed now given the kind of things that have happened between the two since then.
While Brown’s actions were that of a player, he seems to showcasing the maturity of an owner right now. It only remains to be seen what further decisions he will make for his team players that might help them.
