To mark the end of the financial year, amaysim is slashing prices on first
renewals for its long-expiry and 28-day prepaid plans. These offers are available to new and existing amaysim customers.
amaysim EOFY long-expiry deals
We think the long-expiry plan deals are where you’ll squeeze the most value from this offer.
The plans come with a heap of data and are supposed to last you either six months or a full year. The 200GB plan with 365-day expiry in
particular offers good value for money.
200GB for $179 works out to be $14.92 for 15GB when broken down monthly. That’s just under $1 per GB which is a good
benchmark to make sure you’re getting your money’s worth.
According to the ACCC, the average Australian uses around 10GB per month, the 200GB plan gives you plenty of buffer. The cheaper 65GB plan which also comes with a 365-day expiry may leave you scrambling before the end of the year. Divided evenly for 12 months you’re only getting 5GB per month which may not be enough for some people.

amaysim EOFY 28-day expiry deals
amaysim’s 28-day expiry offers aren’t as exciting but this EOFY sale does provide a good opportunity to make the switch from a more expensive retailer if you’re so inclined.
amaysim is one of the few MVNOs that offers unlimited data banking. With the 45GB plan you’re getting 13GB of extra data and saving $20 on the first month of plan fees – not bad.

Hot tip
Because amaysim’s plans come with a 28-day expiry you may end up paying slightly more over the course of a year
when compared to a provider like felix which
offers a month-to-month subscription that lines up with the calendar year.
This amaysim EOFY sale is available from now until June 25.
How do amaysim’s EOFY offers compare to other
providers?
amaysim is one of the first smaller telcos to unveil an EOFY-specific sale but a few other MVNOs are already offering a variety of deals that may suit you better.
Tangerine which runs on the Telstra wholesale network for example is offering double data for six months when you sign up for some of its plans. TPG has gone the other way and is halving the price of its mobile plans for the first six months – it runs on the Vodafone network.
Larger telcos like Optus have some exciting things available such as a phone with a $1 monthly repayment.

Each of the above plans includes at least 10GB of data.
