Alton Towers has announced that it’s brought back a money-saving deal that will allow families to enjoy a cheap day out at the theme park. The resort’s Parent and Toddler pass will save guests around £35 compared to paying on the day.
The hugely popular pass permits one adult and one toddler under five years a whole day of rides for just £29, working out at £14.50 per person.
Plus, guests can choose to add on an extra toddler (under five years) for just an extra £5, taking the cost down to just over £11 per person, while under three’s go free.

The pass provides access to the whole theme park including the UK’s only CBeebies Land, including three of the latest attractions – Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge, Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig, and JoJo & Gran Gran At Home.
The Land includes a large range of rides, indoor and outdoor play areas and a full programme of live entertainment.
Outside of CBeebies Land, there’s lots more for families to explore, including Sharkbait Reef by SEALIFE! , as well as the monorail and play areas – but there are some rules to getting the discounted entry price.
First of all, the offer is an online-only offer which means that the tickets need to be booked online in advance to bag the discount. Similarly, the deal is only available for visits on selected dates during off-peak periods, so excludes weekends and school holidays.
This ticket is for one parent accompanying one toddler , which means additional adults have to purchase the standard pass or ticket, which is from £36 in advance. However, if there are two adults with two children under five, it works best to purchase two Parent and Toddler passes for £58 , rather than the £29 plus extra toddler for £5 and additional £36 adult ticket, which would be £70.
Drayton Manor, in Tamworth, offer a similar deal which is also £29 , permitting a parent and toddler during weekdays in term time. But here, only under twos go free.
To help parents have a smooth as possible trip, Alton Towers have got bottle warming facilities available at several of the theme park food outlets, as well as bespoke kids’ menus, activity sheets and highchairs.
Dedicated baby changing facilities and changing spaces are located across the Theme Park, as well as baby supplies available at retail units, which stock everything needed, including nappies, bottles, dummies and Calpol. while toddler clothing is also available to buy should you find yourself in need of a change of clothes.
Alton Towers also has several features to aid inclusivity and accessibility across the Resort, including a Quiet Room to support those with sensory needs, ear defenders, buggies and more, with entertainers and staff across CBeebies Land even trained in Makaton.
A different deal, running until July 20, allows visitors to get a free second day at the theme park when they book an overnight stay at one of the Resort’s themed accommodations. An overnight stay is priced from £62 per person , but also gets you free parking, a buffet breakfast, live evening entertainment and a free round of Extraordinary Golf.
From the UK’s only CBeebies Land Hotel and Caribbean themed Splash Landings Hotel, to enchanting log cabins and the eccentric Alton Towers Hotel, there are six delightfully themed accommodations to choose from, but those wanting to take advantage of the offer will have to be quick, as the online-only deal must be booked before June 14.
Other ways to save money on Alton Towers tickets include paying with Tesco Clubcard points, or investing in a Merlin Pass.
Covering entry to 29 UK destinations, the Merlin Pass offers free or heavily discounted entry for a selected number of visits. All but the most expensive Platinum Pass have some restrictions on the dates they can be used and each pass is priced per person.
