Carlton’s poor run of form has hurt the club, with AFL bumping them out of primetime slots for the remaining rounds of the home and away season.
The AFL has confirmed the times of games for the rest of the year, and Collingwood’s exciting brand of football has been rewarded with four Friday night games between rounds 16 and 23.
Meanwhile, reigning premier Geelong are set to roar into the finals, finishing their year with a run of five games at their GMHBA Stadium fortress.

The AFL says the fixture for Round 24 will be announced around one month ahead of the games to “maximise” the best timeslots for the final round ahead of the finals.
