Seven’s airing of Border Security – Australia’s Front Line topped entertainment total TV for the network with 575,000 viewers, growing by 2%.
The biggest jump in commercial primetime viewing goes to ABC’s Ningaloo Nyinggulu, where the Total TV audience grew by 35% to reach 200,000 viewers.
Overnight TV Ratings, May 27
Seven enjoyed a Saturday night win in both the network and primary channel shares with 22.3% and 33.6%, respectively. 7mate won the multichannels with 4.8% each.
Seven’s Saturday Night AFL saw the Suns take a 7-point victory over the Bulldogs as 306,000 tuned in to watch the match. In entertainment, Border Security: Australia’s Front Line reached 235,000 as a Border Security officer skill’s stopped a drug delivery through the mail.
Nine’s A Current Affair came out on top, reaching 352,000 as the program visited The Good Life farm where animals are providing happiness, friendship and trust to at-risk youth. Earlier in the night, Getaway had 262,000 as Charlie Clausen visited the Cambodian temples of Angkor before embarking on a meander along the Mekong, cruising through beautiful countryside and vibrant villages.
On the ABC, Sister Boniface Mysteries saw Sister Boniface faced with a serial killer targeting women through the Albion Bugle lonely hearts ads. The show had 269,000 cracking the top 10 for Saturday. Bluey was viewed by 148,000 as Coco wanted to play Wild Girls with Indy, but Chloe wanted her to play another game.
10 aired The Dog House Australia, with the episode having 151,000 as the program met American bulldog Buddy who throws his weight around. The network also aired Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade to 134,000 viewers.
SBS aired Westminister Abbey: Behind Closed Doors to 121,000.

On Fox League, the Raiders beat the Rabbitohs 33-26 in front of 372,000, while the Broncos overcame the Warriors 26-22 in front of 306,000.
Fox Footy’s top game was Geelong V GWS, which saw the Giants win by 7 points in front of 237,000. Gold Coast V Bulldogs clocked 144,000.
