Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Celebration will be making its way to the historical Paddington Town Hall. This July the hall will be transformed into a whimsical wintertime event honouring the iconic Triwizard tradition. Hogwarts-inspired decorations will set the tone for a fun-packed and elegant, yet informal, party. Tickets are still available for those who would like to be part of the magic.
The Venue
Paddington Town Hall, has an atmosphere of grandeur and elegance, making it a perfect location for this Triwizard Tournament tradition. Recognised as a historic landmark, the venue exudes architectural splendour both inside and out. The Main Hall, with its high ceilings, polished timber floors, and elegant chandeliers is a perfect stand-in for the Great Hall at Hogwarts.
The interior will be completely transformed with stunning decorations, including snow, icicles, and enchanting lighting. Guests will be able to roam around the spacious hall marvelling at the Yule Ball Market that will be selling Harry Potter themed treats and merchandise. There will also be a variety of photo opportunities with various decorated backdrops and a dance floor where performances and activities will happen throughout the event.
Adjacent to the main hall, an elegant foyer with bar facilities will be at guests’ disposal. Here, attendees can delight in ordering a range of Harry Potter-themed cocktails, mocktails and of course, the famous Butterbeer™. The foyer serves as a welcoming space where individuals can relax and socialize while immersing themselves in the spirit of the Yule Ball Celebration.
Getting There
Paddington Town Hall is conveniently located near public transport access as well as to the commercial parking station at The Entertainment Quarter. The venue itself does not have allocated parking and while there is street parking in Paddington, it is limited. For this reason, it is advisable for guests to utilise public transport, rideshare, or, for those well-versed in wizardry – Floo powder, apparating and portkeys are all accepted.
Tickets
Tickets are currently on sale and start at $69. To make this experience as enjoyable as possible, The Harry Potter: A Yule Ball Experience has Standard Sessions that are available for guests over the age of 16. For parents who would like to attend with their children over 12 years, there are designated Family Sessions.
