Just a reminder that the Langunyah-Finley branch of Red Cross will be hosting the 2023 zone 29 conference at the Finley Golf Club tomorrow, beginning with morning tea at 9.30am. Lunch will be available for $20.
Present and former Red Cross members and members of the public are welcome to attend.
John Hand will be the guest speaker during the morning session and will give a talk of the growing collection of the Finley RSL Sub-branch memorabilia at the Finley RS Club.
The afternoon speakers will be Kate Johansen and Megan Norton from Red Cross in Wagga. Kate will be speaking on emergency services, and Megan will have information about administration.
The conference is expected to finish at approximately 2pm.

Don’t forget to put aside ten minutes to visit the Mens’ Health Education Rural Van on Thursday, June 1 between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Finley Rotary Club is once again hosting the visit of the van, which is owned by the Rotary Club of Warners Bay and will be situated at the corner of Murray and Pinnuck Streets. These health checks are free thanks to generous sponsors.
Although men are the key target, ladies are also welcome to take advantage of these free basic health checks.
Registered nurse Bill Power will check blood pressure, cholesterol levels and blood sugar levels.
Please feel free to stop and have a chat to Bill; it could save your life.

Members of the Finley CRC are hosting Brett Lindner, a healing evangelist, on Sunday, June 4 at 16 Denison St, Finley – at both the 10am and 6pm services.
There will be a fellowship lunch following the 10am service and it would be appreciated if those attending could bring along a plate to share.
Brett prays for the sick and sees God heal them in Jesus’ name.
An invitation is extended to Finley and surrounding communities to attend and experience God’s love and supernatural power at work.
