Nathan D. White, age 64, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Tammy (Icenhour) White, to whom he shared 44 years of marriage.
Born in Providence, he was the son of Jack White and the late Regina (Rotondo) White. A Veteran of the United States Navy, he went onto a successful career in Boat Restoration for many years prior to his retirement.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he enjoyed his time best when in the company of his family. He shared his many life lessons and admiration for the ocean with them while fishing and quahogging together. He had a witty sense of humor, and was always the life of the party, making everyone around him laugh. Nathan loved classic rock music, art, restoration of boats and furniture, and working with his hands. His kind and caring nature will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his four children, Chad White and his wife Marilyn, Nathan White, Ginarae Lescault and her husband Adam, and Daniel White and his partner Louie; six siblings, Laurie (Peter) Murphy, Christopher, George, Richard, Geoff and Gregory White; five grandchildren, Sadie, Olivia, Cameron, Brianna, and Harper; sister-in-law, Karen White; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Ricky White.
A Celebration of Nathan’s Life will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 4:00-8:00PM at the Hyatt Place Hotel, 800 Jefferson Blvd, Warwick. Relatives and friends invited.
