House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones prequel, is presently preparing for its next round of filming in Wales. While the majority of the sequences will be shot at WB’s Leavesden Studios in the United Kingdom, some outside shots will be included in the show’s second season. HBO is currently doing a lot of filming at various locations in Wales.

New sets at Dinorwig Quarry
Though security is tighter than before, locals do manage to capture a few sneak peeks at the production. The latest one provided by the fan site House the Dragons shows the construction of two new House of the Dragon sets at Pedreira de Dinorwig, North Wales.

Filming to begin at Llanddwyn and Newborough
According to the same source, the filming of House of the Dragon in Aberffraw has been completed. The production has started shooting in Llanddwyn and Newborough. A local resident claimed to have seen wooden rowboats at rehearsals for filming on Llanddwyn Beach recently.
