Tenpin Bowling Australia is delighted to announce the appointment of Don Lindsay as the new head coach for its NTS Open squad.
TBA received several high-quality applications as part of its extensive expression of interest process to fill vacancies within the Open National Training Squad (NTS Open).
After careful consideration, Don Lindsay appeared as the perfect replacement for outgoing coach Robert Alexander after moving to the NTS18 squad.
A proud Queenslander, Don commenced his coaching career in the early 2000’s and he has been heavily involved in coaching state teams ever since. Coaching a variety of age groups from junior, youth and adult, Don was awarded Queensland Coach of the Year on two occasions. Don was appointed to the position of assistant coach for NTS Open in 2020 with him involved as an assistant coach at the 2022 World Cup on the Sunshine Coast.

“I’ve learned a great deal being an assistant to Robert Alexander for the last three years and can’t wait to continue to work with this special group once again” added Don.
The highly qualified coach is a silver-plus level coach with TBA and will be joined by fellow Queensland Colin Linton as the assistant coach for the group.
Linton successfully applied for the assistant coach role within the expression of interest process and we congratulate him on his appointment.
