This year’s route will travel from the Snowy to Sea and showcase the best parts of Gippsland. The Great Vic Bike Ride will start in Orbost and visit the beautiful towns of Buchan, Lakes Entrance, Paynesville, Sale, Port Albert and Fish Creek before ending in Wonthaggi. Volunteers on the Great Vic get to experience Gippsland with all of their expenses covered. This includes meals for nine days, transportation including options from Melbourne and regional locations, and the use of a volunteer tent. There’s also free access to all the entertainment and festivities on the ride.

Volunteers get a behind-the-scenes look at the event management and operations required to make a mass-participation event a success, as well as play a key role in its execution.
