Two tradie brothers who found themselves struggling with their skin working outside in the harsh Aussie sun have revealed how they launched a skincare business “made by men for men” – and it’s already getting rave reviews.
Zac, 28, and Beau London, 23, from the Gold Coast, were working as tradies in Dubbo and “always pinching their mum’s cleanser and moisturiser” when they wondered if they could make something themselves for the “average Aussie bloke”.
Just three years later and after studying skincare for two years, Zac and Beau have launched Frasé Skin – a range of simple skincare products designed to look after and improve men’s skin.

“Working outside all the time, we knew that we needed to look after our skin, but we found that all of the skincare brands didn’t really speak to the men out there,” Beau tells 7Life.
“We wanted affordability, quality but, most of all, a solution for all the lads on a job site and the everyday Aussie battler to break the stigma of typical skincare.”
Frasé Skin is the result of several years of hard work for the brothers, and a re-location to the Gold Coast to help them promote their brand and spread their skincare message.
“We named the brand Frasé after a good friend of mine Sam Fraser died in a freak accident in 2016,” Beau says.
“We have aligned ourselves with the charity speak & share, and $1 of every sale goes to this mental health charity.”
The skincare range comprises a Daily Facial Cleanser ($29.99), a Daily Moisturiser ($39.99) and the Lazy Man Mask ($39.99).
You can also buy the entire range for $108.99 in the Cop the Lot package, and the brothers are currently developing both an SPF product and an eye cream “designed to get rid of eye bags”.
“We studied skincare to make sure we included the best Aussie ingredients in the range,” Beau says.
For example, the cleanser contains green tea and grapefruit extract that can help protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
The moisturiser has Tasmanian sea kelp. Sea kelp is a natural humectant, which means it can attract and retain moisture in the skin.
It also boasts macadamia oil, which is rich in fatty acids, making it perfect for dry and dehydrated skin.
Finally, the Lazy Man Mask has a few unusual ingredients that make it so effective at clearing the skin.
These ingredients include marine silt which is a gentle exfoliant that eliminates dead skin, kelp extract, which is great for reducing the swelling of acne and proven to decrease sebum production, and aloe vera, which is rich in antioxidants, enzymes, and vitamins A and C.
Those who have tried the range already have raved about its ability to help their skin.
“I’ve been in the tradie industry for seven years now, and I’ve finally found the perfect skincare routine thanks to the boys at Frasé Skin. My skin has never felt better!” one reviewer writes online.
“It is actually one of the only moisturisers I have tried that actually hasn’t left my skin feeling heavy and greasy, will defo get it again,” another adds.
Beau and Zac have designed a skin quiz on their website, where you can find out which products are most suitable for your complexion type.
