Russell Crowe is currently touring Europe with his rock band Indoor Garden Party and cut a dashing figure on Saturday when he performed in Valletta, Malta.
The Gladiator star, 59, dressed to impress in a stylish unbuttoned black blazer and matching pants as he took to the stage at Piazza St. George in the Maltese capital city.
He completed his outfit with a crisp black shirt and looked striking as he belted out his songs to a packed crowd under the lights.
Crowe’s black hair was slicked back and he completed his look with a grey beard.
The New Zealand native had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand as he belted out his hits and left them screaming for more.
At one point, the talented musician grabbed an electric guitar and wowed the crowd as he performed an energetic tune.
Crowe could not wipe the smile off his face as he performed with his band and left no doubt in the crowd’s mind about what a talented musician he is.
In a press statement, Russell described his Indoor Garden Party shows as ‘an event, a band, a happening’.
‘It’s fluid. The personnel changes, but it’s always big. It’s like a festival where I gather people I admire, musicians and storytellers, and we put on a show,’ he said.
Despite his successful acting career, Russell has always had an interest in singing.
In the 1980s he recorded a track called I Want to Be Like Marlon Brando under the name Russ le Roq.
He soon became the lead singer of the band 30 Odd Foot of Grunts.
Russell and his girlfriend Britney Theriot are regularly seen jetting between Sydney and Coffs Harbour, where the actor is building a $400million film studio dubbed ‘Aussiewood’.
The Beautiful Mind star owns a 400-hectare farm in nearby Nana Glen, NSW and divides his time between this rural estate and his home in Sydney.
The pair confirmed their long-rumoured romance with a kiss on the tennis court back in November 2020.
