Coldplay fans are on the edge of their seat ahead of the pre-sale for the band’s Australian-exclusive Perth concert — but not everyone is happy about the wait for information.
Some have received texts and emails while other fans are reportedly still waiting for their ticket link.
Pre-sale ticket links were scheduled to drop between 8am and 9am AWST.
The suspense grew on social media in the early hours of Monday morning, with hardcore fans routinely checking their spam emails for the offering.
“Did anyone get the Coldplay tickets presale code today? It was meant to be received today for pre-sale tomorrow morning and there’s nothing in my inbox (checked spam as well),” wrote one social media user.
”Patiently waiting….,” a second commented. “I just received my code by text so they should be on their way.”
WA Premier Mark McGowan attempted to add to the pre-sale ticket excitement, spruiking the concert on his social media channels.
But he was met with a string of frustrated punters.
One fan replied to him that she was left in the lurch with just an hour to sale time.
Sharon Anne was clueless if she was in with a chance of securing pre-sale tickets despite registering.
Commenting on his reminder about presale tickets, Sharon responded: “Registered but didn’t receive any code”.
Another Helen Cooper also has had a frustrating morning posting to McGowan: “Where Live Nation is my code???”
Dale Turner was also left in the same boat, writing: “Where is the presale password?”
The Coldplay Music Of The Spheres World Tour date comes to Optum Stadium on November 18.
It is the first time in seven years the band has played in Australia. The one-off concert stadium is the only show happening in Australia, leaving some fans over east disappointed.
