Michael Bublé delighted his Melbourne audience on Friday night as he embarked on his Australian tour.
The Canadian crooner thrilled his fans when he announced that the Victorian city is close to his heart.
‘What’s up Melbourne? My family, my home away from home,’ the 47-year-old said on stage.
‘Thinking about working for Tourism Melbourne because I can’t say enough great things about this beautiful place,’ he added.
Michael revealed that after ‘Covid and lockdowns’ he saw the gig as particularly special.
‘It’s not a concert, it’s not a show, this is a celebration of life’ the Feeling Good hitmaker said.
Michael wowed the crowd with his biggest hits, showcasing his signature swagger in a chic dark purple suit.
The star has been touring Australia for the past couple of weeks, and it seems he s looking to settle Down Under permanently with his wife Luisana Lopilato and their four children.
‘I have honestly been speaking about it with my wife,’ he told Woman’s Day.
‘We love it here so much and we love holidaying here that we’ve talked about it a few times,’ he added.
‘It’s so far away it would be cool to have something here.’
Michael made similar comments to Yahoo Lifestyle, saying, ‘I love it here, this is my happy place’.
He added a few other countries have also ‘taken him in’ while touring.
‘There are a few places that have really taken me in, places like the UK, Ireland, Australia, South Africa, Philippines,’ he added.
‘These places where there’s just been this really cool, really tight relationship where I have been taken in and loved, and it’s impossible for me not to love those places back.’
The talk of a possible move comes after the Canadian crooner sparked rumours his model wife could be pregnant again. It would be a fifth child for the couple.
The couple welcomed a daughter named Cielo Yoli Rose in August last year, and also share another daughter Vida, three, and sons Elias, six, and Noah, nine.
