- Teen allegedly assaulted by classmates
- Video of attack posted to social media
- Queensland Police are investigating incident
Shocking footage has captured the moment a young boy is forced to kiss another teenager’s shoes after being beaten up in broad daylight.
In the one-minute video, up to three boys slap, shove and throw punches at their victim before slamming him into a wall in Toowoomba, Queensland.
‘Kiss them, kiss them, kiss them boy. You’re a mad c*** aye,’ one attacker says.
‘You should’ve just kissed the shoes,’ another boy tells their victim as three others encircle the teenager and start to throw punches.
One boy then grabs a fistful of the boy’s hair and drags him to the ground, before another pushes his head towards his shoes.
The blurry footage was posted to a local crime social media page earlier this week.
The Department of Education said the video had been referred to police, as the incident took place outside of a school environment.
A spokesman said student safety is the department’s highest priority.
‘The department is aware of an incident filmed on the weekend [which] showed young people engaged in bullying,’ he told the Townsville Bulletin.
‘As the incident occurred outside school grounds on the weekend, the issue is best managed by the Queensland Police Service and enquiries should be directed towards them.’
Queensland Police are investigating the video alongside detectives from the Toowoomba Child Protection and Investigation Unit.
Investigations are continuing.
