Transdev has updated and added new services to the Redlands bus network

In Queensland, major operator Transdev has announced that its team is delivering an improved bus network for the Redlands and Brisbane’s eastern suburbs.
The works began on May 29, with the major bus network upgrades resulting in more direct services into Brisbane city, dozens of extra services to Redlands Hospital and access to the large Shoreline residential estate.
Transdev says it’s changing several routes to improve local public transport services in the region.
Transdev Queensland managing director Mark McKenzie says he thanks Translink for the service investment.
“The Redlands is growing and it’s great that residents now have improved access to the hospital, residential areas and the city,” McKenzie says.
“Our team has put a lot of work in to making sure customers are aware of the new services and also run them smoothly.

“From planning to having staff out on the network to help customers, we’ve had a lot of good feedback already.”
These changes include new and improved bus routes in routes 251, 258, 267, 270, 272, 2725, 280 and 281.
While routes 251 and 275 will deliver faster and more direct services into Brisbane City, routes 280 and 281 will improve access to Shoreline estate residents and routes 258, 272 and the new route 271 will improve access to Redland Hospital across the week.
An extra morning peak hour trip into Brisbane City has been added in route 267, while better service frequency toward Carindale from the Capalaba bus station will come courtesy of route 270.
