BUSINESSES of all shapes and sizes are being encouraged to nominate for the 2023 Business Awards.
Women in Business and Regional Development (WiBRD) and the Mount Gambier Chamber of Commerce are collaborating to bring the Business Awards to the Limestone Coast business community.
Nominations for the awards have officially opened, with businesses able to go for gold across a range of different categories.
WiBRD executive officer Jacinta Jones said it is the first time both organisations have been able to hold the awards since 2019.
“It’s really exciting to be able to have an event together and get the business community together to celebrate,” Ms Jones said.
“And to have fun, as well, which is something really important that we haven’t been able to do on this scale for some time.
“Really looking forward to it, we’ve got some local music coming on the night, a great meal as usual at The Barn, and we’re going to be having a great speaker that will be announced soon as well.”
Ms Jones encouraged people to start putting in nominations.
“It’s a fairly quick process, like five minutes to go on and complete your application and some great different awards are available,” she said.
“Jump onto the website and have a look at what’s there, there’s certainly something to cover everybody in the community.
“We have our small, large and micro business awards, which covers the different aspects of our businesses in our community.”
People can nominate businesses for the awards online at wibrd.org.au/business-award-2023-home
Nominations are open until Friday, July 14 with winners expected to be announced at a gala dinner on Friday, August 18.
