THERE will be a notable absence from the Supercars broadcast in Darwin, with popular pit reporter Riana Crehan to miss the event.
Crehan is pregnant with her and husband Will Davison’s first child – the latter being a star driver for Dick Johnson Racing.
Crehan posted to social media a short time ago to confirm she won’t be on the ground at Hidden Valley.
“Unfortunately we have had to pull up a little earlier than we expected,” she wrote.
“See you guys in a few months at a racetrack with some extra luggage.”
It is likely to be an otherwise usual television team for the Darwin Triple Crown, plus some key additions.
Just as he did at Symmons Plains, six-time Bathurst 1000 podium finisher Warren Luff will appear in a support category role.
Phil Harlum and Steve Martin meanwhile will join to cover the Australian Superbike Championship.
And being the second free-to-air Supercars round of the season, Mark Beretta and Jack Perkins will represent the Seven Network.
Track action at Hidden Valley begins Friday.
