237 major pharmacies closing across UK today – full list of locations

The full list of 237 major pharmacies closing across the UK today has emerged. Lloyds is closing 237 in-store pharmacies at Sainsbury’s stores across the country.

The move comes as Asda also shut in-store pharmacies, in a major blow to UK consumers. The full list of locations being closed up by Lloyds by today (Tuesday June 13) has been revealed.

A spokesperson for the British Pharmacy company said colleagues affected by the closures will also be explored via a “branch-by-branch basis”. Though they are commited to be there to “support them through the process”.

A spokesperson for the company has said that the decision to close some Lloyd’s Pharmacy outlets in Sainsbury’s was made after carrying out “a strategic review of its operations in response to changing market conditions”.
